Club Inducts 23 New Pathfinders Pathfinder Induction was held in the Fellowship Hall on Wednesday, Sept 28., The Collegedale Explorers were delighted of officially induct 23 new Pathfinders into our club! The Induction ceremony begins in near darkness with only a small candle illuminating the Pathfinder emblem. The ceremony continues with new candidates pledging to follow the Pathfinder Pledge and Law and to live up those standards. At the conclusion of the ceremony we can see quite well as candles have been have been lit for each of the statements in the Pledge and Law and for each candidate. The Friends unit, our youngest Pathfinders, are a strong baker's dozen...13 new members! Each of our other units also had new members join us. Our Companion and Explorer units welcomed 2 new members each, Rangers welcomed 4 new members and voyagers and Guides each welcomed 1 new member. The evening culminated with a reception, thanks to the talented hands of Debbie Cloutier, Kristi Evans and Leilani Hagerman. Thank you to the many parents, family and friends who joined us for this ceremony. We are pleased to say that the Collegedale Pathfinders Explorer Club is alive and well with a total of 55 young people. We humbly ask you please continue to offer your support through your prayers and monetary donations.
