Butterfly #1 – cut tissue paper into pieces (about 6” square), give each child two pieces of different colors of tissue paper. Have them accordion fold the paper then clip with the clothes pin to make the butterfly wings. You can draw eyes on the clothes pins.  Another way would be to use a pipe cleaner instead of the clothes pin, and roll the ends for antenna.

Supplies – clothes pins or pipe cleaners
Colored tissue paper (packs of more than one color are available)
Optional  - decorative dots to glue on

Butterfly #2 - Use coffee filters and have the children decorate two of them with markers, crayons, stickers, etc.  Then finger accordion fold each filter and put them together side by side and secure them with a pipe cleaner or clothes pin.

Supplies - coffee filters
    clothes pins or pipe cleaners
    crayons, markers, stickers

Butterfly #3 - Paper Butterfly
