       Crocheting Honor Requirements

Warm Up America!

Here’s a great way to combine an Outreach Activity and the fun of earning an honor. Crochet a warm afghan blanket for someone in need and learn to crochet. This is a project that any club can do no matter how big or small your club is. If your club is large you can make the entire afghan just by having each member make one or two squares. If your club is small you might be able to have other family or church members join in, or you can make as many squares as you can and send them to the Warm Up America! address included at the end of the instructions. I suggest that you contact with your church’s Community Services so that they can be distributed in your own community. Start now that way you’ll be able to make someone’s winter a little warmer.

Need some other ideas to help teach the honor? Check out the Internet, here are a couple of sites.
